Pastor Grinstead was born again on a Sunday morning at the age of 20 in a small coal mining town nestled in the mountains of Southwest VA. He married his high school sweetheart at the age of
22. He began pastoring when he was 25 in Ridgetop, TN. At the age of 33, he began his second pastorate in Cumming GA, where he remains the pastor of Greater Heights Baptist Church, serving with his wife Christa and their three adult children Hannah, Rachel, and Jacob.
Through the years, Pastor Grinstead has witnessed the blessings of God in many lives and many ministries. Since his salvation, he has had both a burden for preachers and a passion for church planting. The Lord has allowed him to witness men from his pastorates planting or rescuing churches in: Iowa (1), Tennessee (2), Kansas (2), Alabama (1), Guatemala (1), Honduras (1), and Africa (1). He continues to train, assist, and encourage men to follow God’s call to reach the world and to plant more churches.
Greater Than Outreach is the ministry that has been birthed from the burden given to Pastor Grinstead. God continues to bless these efforts.
